Who We Are

The Scottish St. Andrew Society of Greater St. Louis is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to cultural interchange between Scotland and the St. Louis area.

The Society's purposes and objectives encompass historical, educational, cultural, charitable and philanthropic activities as well as fostering recreational and cultural events to further the exchange between those of Scottish birth, or descent, and the community of the Greater St. Louis area.

In the pursuit of these aims, the Society brings the people and community of Greater St. Louis together in the promotion of our Scottish and American heritage and traditions.

The Society works to make vital and significant contributions to the cultural and educational life of the community in the Arts and Sciences. These activities include Achievement Awards to area schools and colleges, and other activities to perpetuate the memories, history, customs, music, literature, poetry and folklore of the Scottish and American peoples.
